You can't make this shite up: AD was happy when Cousins was here. Cousins was injured. AD personally recruited Randle (Most teams are happy when their superstar player recruits FA's). Randle has thrived. Mirotic plays Randle's position. The team wants AD to re-sign. The widespread belief is to trade Randle to fix some other position of need.

Have any of you sheep ever considered how AD would feel if we traded Randle? What's the purpose of him wasting his time recruiting, if the team trades the players he wants to play with. Do you think trading Randle would lessen the chances of AD re-signing in New Orleans? There is no wonder why this fan-base is starting to be nationally recognized as opinionated and misinformed. If the team really wants to keep AD, they need to value his opinion or he'll simply go somewhere else that does.

If the team replaced Loomis with Calipari, AD would re-sign. If I was the Pelicans, I would try to obtain friends of AD's that fills team needs (like Kidd-Gilchrist) if possible.

There won't be many sellers at the deadline; we have some decent trade chips. Unless we get a star player in return, I would rather hold on to Frank Jackson. We have our 2019 picks, Mirotic, Moore, Diallo, Johnson (expiring), and Clark (expiring) as desirable assets. This should be enough to trade for Vucevic, Ross, Augustine, 2nd round pick. maybe some kind of 3-way with Dallas sending DSJ to Orlando. Something like: 3-Way Trade with Mavs and Magic

Another idea, maybe we move Solo, Johnson, 2nd for Jabari Parker.

The most obvious way to show me that you don't really understand tjr behind the scenes of the NBA is when people start talking about an NBA player getting mad because you traded his friend. Like this is middle school.

AD don't care if you trade Ramfle, Miller, and Frazier in one swoop. If the team won more, he would be happy.

AD has had dinner one on one with LeBron more times this summer than he has Randle. This isn't some Netflix show with the friendships and drama that some people think exist. These guys go to work and then don't think about their teammates, the job, etx half as much as you guys seem to think about it.

Trade Randle and still stink. - then, yeah AD might be frustrated. But he would be upset because they are losing. Not because he lost his BFF that he just can't be without

The goal isn't just keeping AD, it's keeping AD AND building a good team that can compete at a high level.

Hypothetically, even if building the NBA version of Kentucky kept him here, the team would still not be good so what does it really matter?

I just don’t want them dumping Frazier for no reason. AD is obviously really close to Frazier. That relationship is worth the minimum and a roster spot imo with us being bereft of young talent on rookie deals.

1. I haven't read those articles.

2. Your thread is more misinformed than most.

I assume we're considered misinformed by half the swinging dicks that are selling the AD to Lakers or AD to Boston crap.

You think AD was happier:

A) When they swept Portland last year and Frazier was elsewhere

B) Now, losing games, but with Frazier on his team

The amount that you guys think this "friendship" stuff actually matters -- divide it by like 2000 and that's how much it actually does matter.

I assumed his Save Frazier talk was tongue-in-cheek.

I go on Twitter occasionally and look at other teams fans evaluations of their own players, what they would and wouldn't trade for other teams players, etc

And I can confidently say the Pels fan base is one of the smartest.

I'm being serious. I'm not saying don't move Frazier if he's needed to make a trade work or any similar circumstance. I just don't want to move Frazier to bring in some retread who's in street clothes and not going to make a difference. I'd honestly rather waive Diallo to clear space before Frazier anyways.

Almost every time I've seen Davis off the court, he's with Frazier when they've both been rostered. STH events? Riding with Tim and Dante. Mardi Gras float? Riding with Tim and Demarcus. Pregame walk through the tunnel? Lagging behind and talking to Tim. I don't think Frazier is some guy who he likes because they went to Kentucky and are good at basketball. Seems like there's a genuine friendship there.

Again, I'm only saying that if it's feasible to keep him around at the end of the bench as an actual 12th man and not someone Gentry plays too much... Why not?

I'd say if we moved Frazier, Gentry would be more inclined to play Jackson more, but who am I kidding?? He'd just let Ian Clark stink up the court instead.

That's a legitimate point

A lot of people will disagree with you, but it is a reasonable discussion. Frazier gives you more now and Diallo still isn't really developing the way we thought he could. People can point to Aminu becoming a legit NBA rotation player in Portland, but I could see Aminu improving key parts of his game while he was here. I just don't see it with Diallo.

It's all about opportunity cost versus other options.

Jackson is someone we need to try to keep and develop. You may need to use him in a trade, but developing, cost-controlled young players have obviously been lacking in this organization.

I would be downright shocked if Diallo had any trade value at all other than being an expiring contract. He's way more Julian Wright than Aminu.

First of all, bogus bozo, you don't know what or who I know. I know you consider yourself an "inside" man; I hope you don't have 'sources', the team is in trouble if legitimate people in the organization share your morbid and rudimentary prospective.

I guess it doesn't matter to AD that he recruited Randle here. It's that way because some McDonalds manager in Utah says so. Sure, let Boogie go, then trade Randle, AD will love it. You sound stupid as fukk.

if this is true, Calipari would already be a member of the Pels organization.

If it's part of a deal to get a better player, say Beal, yes AD will absolutely love it.
