Zion's +/-
Speaking of, where did the on/off and lineup numbers go on Basketball Reference?

should have never traded Adams

The entire board wanted him gone and half thought even signing him in the first place was horrendous, now you see one stat and think that we never should have traded him. Also, they didn't lead the league in this category because of Adams, it was because of someone else.

He was a terrible fit with Zion. Zion's +/- was better without Adams on the court, and Adams's +/- was better with Zion off.

Well, he’s certainly not the perfect fit. But as we know, not many are. With Zion, you need length, shot blocking, rebounding, defense, shooting, it’s a jigsaw puzzle.

Remember this was Zion’s rookie year really. No true PG on the team. And imagine Lonzo trying to run an offense, with his passing option Bledsoe, Zion and Adams, with BI wanting to play one on one. It was a cluster. But I think point Zion with Adams setting picks and good shooters would work. Adam’s is one of the best screen setters in the league, and definitely will bang and defend.

End of the day, my problem with Adams vs Jonas is availability. Plain and simple. Even when Adams plays, he always has something affecting him. And Jonas is kindof a beast.

Jonas shooting from the outside-which was what the Pels should be focusing on to strengthen his value to the team and the market, would alleviate the “fit” concern to a degree. It would also put him in better position to establish protection territory defensively in transition & the half court.

You’ve had some consistently terrible takes across every board in the last few days. I think you need to step away from the keyboard and rethink your life.
