Again, you don’t seem to understand that the flag you are demanding specific gestures of worship towards literally represents ideals in diametric opposition to that sort of love it or leave it nonsense. Even if I’d argue America has failed to live up to those ideals.

The entire foundation of our democratic-republic rule and things like the Bill of Rights is to allow people certain legal protections such as the the right to peacefully speak and assemble free from government retribution or punishment like was not the case under the monarchical rule of Britain.

The idea of allowing people to freely voice their displeasure at the government,
assemble peacefully, or choose not to participate in rituals of state or idol worship is at the core of the idea of America.

And in that spirit you have every right to tell people to get the frick for not worshipping the way you want, and I have every right to point out that sounds like authoritarian anti-American nonsense.
