we have already discussed many of the good things to death, so I wanted to talk about things that needed to be improved upon.

ya, it's not working right now...the guy's supposed to be a scorer, but he shoots horribly. it's early and he's young...hopefully he will figure it out

I think he will, but they are putting too much onto him right now. He didn't look for his shot at all until the 2nd half, where he started forcing it. He was trying to be unselfish, so I give him credit for it but it didn't look good. I also don't get him starting at SG and being the main back-up at PG. I know without Gordon we are shorthanded, but he needs to stay at one or the other. It's just too much for him right now.

Nobody is talking about him messing up assignments, which rookies do. We're talking about his horrible shooting. I also don't buy into him forcing shots. He looked pretty hesitant to shoot, and when he did, he shot several bricks. He did well at the FT line, though.

I thought Rivers had some nice moments. Still has a long way to go. Expecting him to be a scorer is just silly right now.

Monty has put a leash on him and that is the right call. But he's going to look tentative and get eaten alive some as he adjusts. Hopefully the pg gamble works because he isn't an NBA 2

he should be able to score somewhat, right? that's why we drafted him...i know he's young, but he's got to do better than 1,2, or 3 of 10 every night

It was only his first game. I think he'll get on track just give him time. Austin did a great job getting to the line which is good.

Yeah, he will never be a good enough of a shooter to play the 2 exclusively.

Nobody is expecting him to be Iverson, but his outside shot is downright atrocious, which usually doesn't work out well for guards. Rondo is a huge exception, but he came into the league as a legit pass-first PG. I really hope Rivers develops, but right now I'm very, very skeptical.

He just has to keep his eyes open to make those easy passes. That's one major thing he lacks, all those shooting things that's going to come. It will. But that awarenesses, that will get there. Vasquez has or and I love it. He knows where to get the ball. But when the offense stalls its a shite show, but he knows what to so.

Me too. Obviously very early in his career, but there is a lot of work to be done. So far the inefficient, volume scorer with athleticism questions label has been on target. But to give him credit, I do think his ability to find teammates has improved greatly in a short time.

The biggest worry for me is that I don't think he is quick enough to consistently get a good shot without a screen or get to the rim with a screen.
