re: So THE TEAM told Zion to stay home and it's THE TEAM sitting him down. Not Zion

You can check my post history if you’d like, I was always a BI supporter and have frequently called out ghost2most or whatever his name is for his terrible BI takes. I was the one who said if he could start shooting 8 3’s a game that every team in the league would like to have that guy on their roster.

I can personally attest to grief therapy 100% not being a sham. Such a simple minded person to have this take. Kind of ironic that you're begging people to have empathy for him yet yet consider an entire field that is based partly on empathy a sham.
I haven't hated on Zion much at all, though lord knows every Pels fan really could justify it though. But I have given up on up hope that this roster could ever be anything special or Zion be a true #1. Which is just sad. I bought Pelicans+ for a full season and 2-3 games in the team managed to kill any excitement I had for the season.

Another reason to trade him. The headache is no longer worth it.

We can disagree. You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink. A therapist can give the best advice in the world, but it’s up to the recipient of the advice to implement it. And then if they do implement it, whose victory is it? I’m not even really talking about grief/trauma therapy, that probably has its place. But the surge of young people who brag about having their therapist on speed dial is a problem. People know what they need do, they just don’t do it, and then they need a soft voice to tell them it’s ok they didn’t do what they were supposed to do.

He never wanted to be here in the first place.
We should have traded him awhile back. Now is the time to strike. Trade him and load up with young, new talent.

Therapy is not about wins and losses. The credit always is on the patient as they are putting in the work to be a better version of themselves. A therapist helps guide that- thats all.

This is not what therapy is about at all. This is a misconception of therapy that you have derived from social media and mainstream media. Therapy has been around for years its not some new generation thing.
This is all off topic frankly but I don’t think you have a clue what therapy really is. We should end the discussion there respectfully.

Zion's camp has controlled how the Pelicans report his injuries and have maintained that control. It wasn't the Pelicans' idea
I think thats the part of the problem. There comes a time when Griffin needs to push back a bit in regards to Zions camp controlling things. I don’t understand why we treat him like he’s Lebron, Kawhi or even Embiid. The guy has done nothing to deserve that type of respect. Yet, Griffin gives it to him like hes some championship superstar.

Zion questionable again against Cavs tomorrow. Lets see what doctors say about attending the game. This has to be some crazy painful thigh soreness lol

I’m not giving excuses to Zion .
But this is a shite post . Mental illness is usually not as easy as going to a therapist and getting your shite sorted in one off season .
Some mental illnesses are lifelong , require consistent therapy and wax and wane through your entire life . Some people will have mental illnesses all their life . And there’s nothing that can be done .
If money made people happy why are some of the richest people in the world the ones most mentally fricked up.
This is a weak post man
I don’t even think Zion is mentally Ill but your take on mental illness is fricked . Please fix it

My post wasn’t on mental illness or that it was easy to fix by going to a therapist. My point was if that was the case for Zion- he should start talking to someone to help fix that issue such as a therapist. Especially if you have the money and support of your workplace behind you. Something a lot of people don’t have. I think you’re reading way too into my post. I wasn’t inferring therapy alone or one offseason would fix Zion mental woes. Again I doubt he has any mental issues myself.
