He's played on a team with a losing record over the past 2 seasons, but when he's in the game, we consistently win those minutes in a big way.

3rd on the team last season, 1st the season before in Net Rating when he's on the court. The sample size is too large to say 100% of it is just pure luck or coincidence.

He consistently plays winning minutes on a losing team.

This is what people constantly said during Jose's rookie season. Then, they said it again last season. He's just an exception.

Daniels
Murphy
Backup 4
Nance

Will be the guys off the bench. I said 9th man. That’s his correct slotting. Love him to death but as Gyno pointed out, he wasn’t great down the stretch.

He’s also listed a 5’11. You don’t win with guys that short playing major minutes.

How are you saying that he slots 9th but also arguing that he won't be in the rotation?

Do you think he plays above the ones I stated?

You think teams only run 8 man rotations in the regular season?

Jose will be in the rotation next season. It's absurd to argue otherwise like you did.

I'll play, the answer is no. Jose will still be in the rotation, so your question is irrelevant.

Why do you think we'll run an 8 man regular season rotation?

No. It’s relevant because the OP and my statement are about rotation minutes.

Show me the exact statement where I said that.

You said Jose is 9th in order

You said Jose won't be in the rotation.

Why is the 9th dude not in the rotation?

Again, you said he won't be in the rotation. That means zero minutes if we're at full strength.

So no, I didn’t say that, exactly?

So you think the 9th dude won't be in the rotation? Hilarious

Again, why is the 9th dude not in the rotation? Why is the 10th dude in the rotation over Jose? And the 11th, and so on...

You've argued we'll a rotation of more than 8, Jose is 9th, and Jose won't be in the rotation.

Jose and Larry took turns being the 2nd and 3rd best player most nights during that December run which is nuts when you think about it. The question to ask is could any random role player step up next to Zion, or does Jose compliment him better than others?

Feel like Jose’s numbers were deceiving last year

He showed a great deal of improvement and efficiency early on

Then he broke some ribs, tried to play through it, and it impacted his efficiency

It’s hard enough to be 5ft 8 in the league. It’s even tougher when you are injured.

I think he showed enough early in the season to have some hope for him as at least a regular season rotational piece.

He plays hard and the team plays better with him on the floor.
