Test it out, play it by ear with conservative treatment first. If it kept bothering him and/or we still lost a ton then have the surgery.

Or, the team could have built chemistry, picked up some early wins and gotten the fan base fired up. Maybe he feels better, and you can push the surgery to the offseason.

They recieved multiple opinions, and every one of those opinions were surgery

He was not starting the season with the injury, if he wouldve people like you would be complaining we played him hurt

Most people have an understanding that we are in a rebuild and that the highest of expectations is that we would be an 8th seed. Most analysts projections had us b/w 8th-10th. You dont risk ruining your franchise changing centerpiece for the sake of chemistry and a couple of wins in order to chase an 8th seed.

This is a very flawed roster and nowhere near its final form.

Part of your supposedly conservative treatment is to play full court basketball.

News flash. Playing basketball is not a conservative treatment for knee issues.

Op/idea should be top five all-TD worst post for year.
All boards.

Conservative treatment = physical therapy instead of surgery.

Ease him in, limit minutes. But nooooo, have surgery a week before the season
