Darko was a killer mistake, but Dumars had plenty of solid picks. I'd rather JVG/Ferry combo, but you could do worse.

You really can't do much worse than Dumars.
People don't realize just how disastrous his last 6ish years were. The game changed and was COMPLETELY clueless. Never adapted, didn't have a single idea how to right the ship.
He's awful.

Demps made a rare on air appearance last night to talk about the new DLeague team. Half the teams in DLeague lost money according to one of the articles I've read about them in the past. I'm not saying him making an on air appearance means he's safe, but Demps reenergized the fan base and ticket sales with the Boogie trade and he's run a DLeague team before, so I'm sure he told Loomis he knows the secret to setting it up to not lose money.

Yea I agree with you I'm pretty sure Demps is safe I don't know about Gentry but I think the most likely outcome will be both come back for another year

If I were NBA players, I'd be pissed that so much of my money goes to subsidizing the WNBA and D-League both which lose money.

Camera shots of WNBA crowds are epic. There's not many people in the seats, but the ones who are there...

Demps traded a first for Asik, brought in a pace and space coach, them bid against himself and paid Asik entirely too much money for too many years, even though he is a lumbering big, and now will have to either trade another first to dump him or stretch him and have 3+M in dead money over the next seven years.

It's crazy because if you asked me if 5 years after CP3 left I'd be happy with the core they currently have I'd say definitely. But considering how we got here and he lucked into his top 2 players, it's really hard to say he's done a good job.

Three things make WNBA fans happy.
One is the WNBA, I can't post a picture of the second thing here but the term "tuna melt" might help you to know what it is and then here's the other-
Dumars is old news, if the Pels would make a move, they could do better.
