Define elite stretch 4. Surely elite means he can defend and rebound.

You act like Ryan Anderson is Larry bird.

No I see it as a trap because it is. SFP is thinking like a lawyer, framing the question so he gets the desired answer.

Davis. You may have heard of him.

A limited defensive Center or an elite Stretch 4?

stretch 4s are more common, and Rybot is not an "elite stretch 4"

he's a somewhat elite 3 point shooter, especially for a big, but he doesn't do much else than that

You act like Asik is Bill Russel. He is overrated as frick. He's a good defensive Center. I'm not giving up one of our best players to get him.

I can't think of many stretch 4s better than him.

no, it's a question simply based in reality, that touched on something jester said earlier

we're basically at the cap (for all intents and purposes). we're limited to the draft and a couple of exceptions to fill our holes

it is my point that finding 3 point shooters/floor spacers is easy with those options, and finding elite defensive centers is not as easy. we'd have to roll the dice on a guy like dalembert

When Asik was on the floor, Houston had the #10 ranked defense. When Asik was off the court they had the worst defense

That is not overrated

I give up on this subject. Its no use even arguing about it.

Speaking of overrated, Donatas Motiejunas. He's never done a thing, but for 2 years people have acted like he's the get of the century. What's the deal?

Can someone explain to me how this swap affects the cap? Pretty sure I saw that it could hinder us down the road. Sorry if already discussed

I guess we have different definitions of a stretch 4 then.

Wait you mean one of our best players who can't play at the same time as our best player, right? The emotional attachment to Ryan Anderson is a little weird. I really like Anderson but right now he's expendable and not a great fit on our team. It's basketball 101.

yeah, alright, let's stick Davis on the Dwight Howards of the world

AD is going to be one of the best that's ever played the game when the dust settles, but he is not ready to be a defensive 5 for us at all

in fact a lot of the draw to Asik is that he takes some of the defensive pressure OFF OF davis

So his cap # won't change despite making a lot more next year?

4s who shoot jumpers to draw out the defense. they don't have to be 3s

all of those 4s entire offense is based around their jump shot

We better take montejuanas in this deal, Houston people are saying its imminent.

Rockets can't get rondo smith and Anderson without giving up parsons. So either they don't get 1 of the 3 or they give up parsons.
