Could Roberts develop into a player like Pargo was for us? Pargo was quite the little spark plug and really filled a great role on those Hornet teams. If Roberts can develop in the next two years into that role player, I would be quite pleased.

He's shown flashes of it

He'll be getting more playing time for the rest of the season to prove himself

It's almost like he is better at making his own shot than Gordon sometimes

He looked adequate last night. He didn't light it up, but did a good job with controlling the tempo of the game, and getting everyone involved.

If he can give quality minutes from the bench, and occasionally step up like last night, he could really fill a void on this team.

Yes he could, easily...I don't how great that would be though...I think Pargo is overrated here.

He was awesome in the San Antonio series for sure.

...terrible FG%. Only one season with a slightly above average PER (not with the Hornets).

Hopefully Roberts can be a lot better than Pargo.

A lot better? I think they can be very comparable. In other words, hover around 40% shooting and instant offense some nights. There's nothing to really indicate Roberts will be any better, much less signifantly.

Roberts can never be cp3's best friend so he will never be on pargo's level

He did a fine job as a back up PG. Of course there was a drop off, but he didn't piss away leads.

Roberts very well may develop beyond Pargo, but I would be happy if that was what he developed into.

I just try to have higher aspirations for promising rookies than developing into average bench players.

He was better than most back up 1s in the league.
