I don’t mean to throw a wrench in any of this, but you suggested the Bread Pudding as dessert where I had Cookies+Brownies. Same price, so we could take a poll to see what the majority wants for the dessert? I picked Cookies+Brownies because it probably satisfies the most people, but if enough prefer bread pudding, then it’s a no brainer.

Also, we need to make sure we have enough money for whatever overage we may have with the menu I posted. I feel like I remember it coming out to more than $900 after tax and tip, and I don’t want you getting stuck with any added costs after last year.

Guys, just wanted to apologize to everyone.

My last post on this board before tonight was my pledging that I’d pay my dues well before the deadline.

I had a major health crisis less than 24 hours after that post, and had to spend a few days in the ER, followed by a couple weeks in the hospital.

Until the last couple of days of my hospital stay I couldn’t even use my phone. Figured y’all would have noticed that I hadn’t paid and move along accordingly. By the time I was discharged, the deadline for payment had passed by 8-10 days or so.

Just wanted to say that I really wanted to be there, and have been too embarrassed to find the original thread.

I am very sorry. Even though the circumstances prevented me from honoring my commitment, or providing notice that I would not be doing so until well after it would be too late, I still feel bad so figured I’d clear the air in this thread.

I sincerely appreciate the invitation, and regret that my health threw a major wrench into an event I had been very much looking forward to.
