I mean that really is the long and short of it. The starters are just going to have to improve on defense. Otherwise you are talking about doing some crazy arse position bending to try to make it work, which doesn't really work.
Ingram and Zion are just going to have to be big boys and grow up.
But I think that's why it was so major for us to get Adams. He will be the anchor, and the forwards are going to have to step up.

Oh no doubt in my mind.
Just think there are some things to consider in that whole do we or don’t we go hard after a 3 and D SF eventually. Which I think a lot comes down to our plans with Lonzo and how comfortable/good Ingram can do as the guy relied upon to be guard the better small forwards and occasionally power forwards.

Has to be the number 1 target next offseason

Even though he was undrafted, I think Naji Marshall makes a great SF defender. He just needs to improve his shooting and he be a legit 3&D here. If he had better shooting, he would have been a first rounder for sure.

Yea. He was considered to be one of the best wing defenders to come out of the draft. If they can correct his issues with his catch and shoot mechanics, he could turn into a rotational wing we need next season.

Yep. No reason we can't turn him into a Torrey Craig or Royce O'Neal, even though he's a lot more athletic than both of them.
