8. Dyson Daniels without a doubt. If he's not there, then i don't want to make this pick. Definitely don't want Sharpe, and i'm just not that high on Mathurin anymore. I don't see what's the big difference between Mathurin and Branham. I also don't think Mathurin will even be there when we pick though.
9-12. not sure what's the scenario where we move to this spot, but if we did, i'd go with Branham.
13-17. Still go with Branham if he's there. If not, then Ochai or Jalen Williams, as I'd prefer we go the more proven older route like we did with Trey. Don't try to draft Donovan Mitchell here, instead try finding a guy you think is smart and can develop into a solid role player, which means draft a guy that can shoot and/or play good defense.
I absolutely don't want to draft Sharpe, Dieng or Griffin.
I really do think Sacramento won't take Ivey.
I know the Pacers are really high on Sharpe, but there's no way they'd pass on Ivey, a Indiana native who played at Purdue.

quote:There's been a lot of talk about them really liking Murray, and the Pistons seem very high on Mathurin. Would the Pistons still take Mathurin if Ivey was there?
To sum things up on Jaden Ivey:
•Worked out for Orlando and Detroit
•Oklahoma City's staff saw him workout in Los Angeles
•The Knicks went to his pro day
•He was in contact with the Rockets at the combine
•He has had no contact with Sacramento

The problem with Branham is that his scoring is too one dimensional. It's all pull-ups, either from midrange or from deep. He seems to shy away from contact and won't just take it to the rim. After seeing Lonzo do that for years, I don't want another guard who can't drive and finish.
Being able to score from the mid range and from 3 isn't called 1 dimensional. What Lonzo does, scoring 75% of his points from 3, with zero mid range or getting to the basket game, is called 1 dimensional. Lonzo doesn't even try to go to the goal.
The knock on Branham is he isn't a great athlete, and he doesn't have a great first step. how he adjusts to that will determine who good of a scorer he will be in the NBA. Kris Middleton doesn't have a great first step, but he still finds a way to be a great scorer. At worst with Branham, he's a great spot up 3 point shooter. At best, he's a fringe all star level scorer.
