Probably. Did you look at our schedule remaining after the Blazers tomorrow? All playoff teams. I really wanna see this team with Zion in the playoffs, but I still don’t have high hopes right now even after our 4 (and likely 5) game win streak. I’d love to be wrong though.

This really has been one of the strangest seasons I remember following. If the pelicans don’t blow an 8 pt or whatever lead against Houston, we’d be sliding into the 5th seed. As is, we are sneeze away from finishing outside the top 10.
This finish would be engrossing if I had any faith in Zion to be back in the fold in two weeks.

One of the reasons I’m optimistic about the remainder of the schedule is Herb. He has been locking up oppositions best wing consistently without fouling.
Expect he’ll deal with Grant, Klay, Murray, Kawhi, Huerter/Barnes, Bane, Barrett, and Ant if he’s playing. Significant parts of offenses, if he can contain. Definitely should be considered for 1st team all defensive honors.

Seeing the effort of BI and Trey defending helps Herb case too. He doesn’t have to do help defense and just focus solely on the star player.

They need to protect the Blender and go on a mini win streak.
I worry with the officiating. The team not being a big three point shooting team makes them vulnerable to ref interference to a playoff run.
