They don’t have a traditional PG that can shoot, I’ll give you that. But they have multiple guys who can handle the ball and distribute with Jalen Johnson, NAW, Dyson and CJM. I’m not saying they are going to go far, but it’s funny they have 3 former Pels as starters and they have a winning record.
“Not a lot of young talent to develop” is actually a pretty crazy take. Jalen Johnson, Okongwu, Dyson, Kuminga and Risacher are all really young and talented. Plus they have our 1st. Hawks are in a good spot.

Not in my opinion. I dont think theres anyone in that group that can be a number 2 on a contending team, much less a number 1

To think, we still have Zion, who's been non-existent for 7 years in the playoffs. Meanwhile BI will be playing playoff basketball next month and give all of you more chances to bitch about how much he sucks while Zion is eating cheetos off some fat disgusting hooker while he plays video games all summer.
Could not get a bag of chips for Zion. It has been reported multiple times that both Griff and then Dumars was trying to move him. Raptors will be done by sweep in 1st round if they get Boston or Cleveland.

Even if that’s true. Those type of players could easily be packaged for the next inevitable disgruntled superstar.

Completely disagreed. He has taken a huge jump to an all-star averaging 23/10.4/7.9. What are you considering a #2 on a contending team if that is not acceptable?

Efficiency. League is more efficient than ever. Jalen is having a great yeat. Hes the exception. My previous post was wrong. I'm still not convinced he can be a 2 on a contender.

Ingram’s weaknesses as a top option have been obvious during this time and were again Wednesday. Ingram is a willing passer but not a quick decision-maker. He had four turnovers against the Pelicans, including a pair during the starters’ disastrous stretch to begin the third quarter, as a 2-point deficit at the half ballooned into double digits. He is averaging 3.8 assists and 2.5 turnovers per game. In his final healthy season in New Orleans in 2023-24, he averaged 5.7 assists and 2.5 turnovers. He isn’t supposed to be the Raptors’ primary playmaker — he is in Toronto to score — but a team with such a small margin for error offensively cannot live with that sort of inefficiency. It has to win the possession battle, and Ingram’s looping handle is hurting the Raptors too often. Thanks to a recent slump, his shooting numbers are right around his career averages. He is a good midrange shooter, but he is not Kevin Durant, enough to prop up an offense by himself.
Brandon Ingram’s limitations are showing as Raptors fall out of top 6
