There's only so much irrelevance and incompetence people can take year-in/year-out.
ETA: There's no interesting subplots going on right now either. There's no young players getting to take advantage of all the injuries and playing time. AD isn't playing, so throw out the "how nuts will he go?" chance. Anderson and Gordon looking good isn't even exciting as they're likely not going to be in a Pels uniform next year.

I don't know where you came up with an opinion at all regarding the team and being interesting. For the common fan, there's little to be overly invested in atm.
