Why not give him the toys he knows how to play with?
Multipositional defenders that are competent on offense is what he played with in Golden State. They brought in Clark, who Crawford will lose minutes to, because he fits what the new offensive coach Chris Finch wants to run with Cousins, not to mention the Golden State pedigree.

Good point. I'm excited at how much better our bench is this year. At the end of last season, Crawford was probably our best bench player, now he's being bumped to the end of the bench.

I'm not saying a guy like Crawford wouldn't be nice thing to have on the bench, but to me the choice isn't Crawford or Moore, it's Crawford or QPon. If they think QPon can come back I pick him over Crawford.
I wouldn't put any faith whatsoever in Q-Pon ever being a solid NBA player again.

Q-Pon
I know he's won the NBA's Sick Man Of The Year award the last few seasons, but I think this is the year he turns it around.
Asik got the award locked up though.

I get if some people think his knee must be so shot that he'll never play again, but I'm getting the impression that a lot of people think even if he is healthy 2 years of rust is too much to shake off. That makes no sense to me.

I'm questioning his defense. Knee injuries are a bitch, one that takes you out 2 years might make you go from above average defensively to can't keep up Gordon.
