It's the kind of hire with nothing but upside and zero downside. Griffin wanted to expand the front office and Gayle is letting him do that. As Griffin said, titles are meaningless. The goal is to bring in as many intelligent basketball minds as possible and let them go to work.
Regardless of gender, Cash is a winner at multiple levels of play and seems to be pretty savvy.
