To be fair, you can put incredible analytics people in place, but it doesn't matter a singular frick if Weaver/Dumars/Mosley don't listen to them, and instead just draft guys based on geography

He was the head of coaching analytics guy with Phoenix. That's a bit different from player analytics.

Hopefully that these hires being under Dumars/Weaver that they'll be more inclined to take into account their knowledge.

What part of that was negative? That’s just plain truth. It’s nice that we’re making seemingly reputable hires for analytics roles. It also could make absolutely no difference at all.
Remember when we were all freaking out about stealing that head trainer from Phoenix? Didn’t seem to make much difference in the end.
