The Lakers just beat the Celtics with their B squad. A little perspective goes a long way.

He’s special defensively.
Defensive Box Plus/Minus is an advanced stat I like, and it has Dyson as the 8th best defender in the entire league

Lol ok. I need perspective because Im not excited that we barely beat a 10 win team. Yet we expect this same team to be competitive with the contending teams? Makes complete sense.

I don't track stats that closely, but it doesn't surprise me. He passes the eye test.
I wonder how many of the other top guys are asked to defend so many different players.

Weirdly it has Jokic at the top but other than that Dyson is surrounded by great defenders like Caruso, Thybulle, Gobert, etc

Looking at replays of the last possession by the spurs. If Vassell feeds Wemby on the roll- he likely gets a dunk and the win. Im so glad he didn’t though.
