Or maybe Willie figured out a way to use him effectively and BI and the others didn’t show up as I stated originally. Multiple aspects of the game can be true.

Eh I’m over it. Do what you need to do to make this team better. Watching this team play game to game has become unbearable form of torture.

Do we give up 200 on Monday? I love Willie’s defensive acumen.

Except watching the game, it was clear we didn't run the same scheme as we did against Utah, or even close to it.

This team is so bi polar. It's becoming painfully obvious that the team is taking on the personality of their head coach.

Dyson was a high upside, developmental pick. It was relatively known his defense would hold up. So, it was seeing if he was a true point guard and could develop his shot, game...
It's obvious he's not a PG and Dyson routinely has at least 5-8 feet from any defender near him when he shooting 3's and yet he doesn't hit em.
It wasn't a bad pick. I wanted Shaedon Sharpe and thought we should have traded some capital to move up and get him or Ivey. Seems like the Pels always want or should have gotten the player 1 pick before them. It's uncanny how often that has happened

He wont. He’ll blame Willie and fire him. Resign BI and expect another coach to make it work. I can almost promise you thats whats going to happen.

CJ can't even get into the flow of the game. Not gonna win if he's not a factor in the 2nd half.

When we take the ball out of Zion's hands as a creator, CJ doesn't get nearly as many clean looks. Tonight was his 2nd straight game with as many turnovers as made shots. He struggled in our losses against the Clippers, Nuggets, Mavericks, Phoenix, OKC when we ran everything through a high screen for BI. It's not surprising that his best game in weeks was Utah when he was able to start out with several open catch and shoot 3s.

Truth. The fun, at the moment, is gone.

Team needs a spark and some fight. I’d rather see if they can find it internally than move pieces this deadline

Exactly bc he wanted z and the team to be in a better spot to succeed.

Zion was able to do what was needed . BI scored but didn’t play particularly well and we got nothing else where .

I know this board loves to hate Willie . He’s not perfect but he is no where near the biggest problem .

I love CJ this season but he has always struggled against the elite teams with bigger wings. Hes not the most athletic and can’t really fool them with some of his moves. But you’re right against these teams he needs to be more of an off ball threat.

I don’t think he gets another shot to pick a coach. Nothing will happen until Griff is shite canned. fricking slimy used car salesman anyway

This is the way it always goes .

Coach is the easiest scapegoat . Then 2nd season into the next coach management realizes maybe it wasn’t the coach and try to move players for 50 cents on the dollar .

Trade BI for Mikal Bridges and Nick Claxton. Throw in Dyson and give them 2 first round picks.
Roll the dice like that.

Who is firing Griff though? The Pels nor Saints aren't firing any management or coaches right now. Willie is a highly Christian man. You really think Gale is gonna pull the trigger to fire such a strong fellow Christian?

For sure, this team has talent but is not as deep as most claim (particularly against good teams). A lot of the problems that show against the good teams are that they have no point, and an abundance of wings. As I count:

Jose: point
CJ: wing
BI: wing
Trey: wing
Daniels: wing
Herb: wing
Zion: wing
Hawkins: wing
Marshall: wing
Ryan: wing

Wings are always valuable commodities as assets, but they'll need to come off one + a big to get where they need to.

Man, some of yall don't pay attention to shite. Gayle loves BI. No way she signs off on trading him. Some of you need to wake the frick up.

The Nets would laugh at that offer.

Yeah. Seems like the Nets have made it pretty clear they won’t move Bridges without significant compensation
