The loss was mainly on Willie and his bad rotation tonight. Sato played 16 min and took no shots, at least kira would get into the lane and create something dude was just out there. And he did not play Jax and Trey enough then he brings Trey in with 6 min left for the first time in the second half. Plus the should have change there defense on Dinwidde.

Unfortunately the Pelicans do not have a true lead guard. I don't see this team closing out very many games consistently even when Zion returns. Griffin was correct to go after a true lead guard even if we were unable to land one. It's still the team's Achilles heel.

Were playing without a pacesetter. Hart is the closest to helping with tempo but he’s not going to control the ball. Jrue’s little brother was the best guard not named Dinwiddie tonight.

That game was massively frustrating after we looked a half competent team against the Grizz.
Control the whole game…choke in the 4th. You couldn’t make it up.

I thought we choked in the third. Game should have never gotten that close. Team played passive, stopped moving, walked the ball up the court to try and run the clock out. Don’t understand the lack of urgency with a 2-11 now 2-12 record.

I really hope NAW finds his shot soon. His “drop off” in production may not be as striking as “that one season” it took around 20 games for Jrue to find his game but &@-!/&/&/!!!

It's a consistent theme though. Even going back to last year.
We look like one of the best teams in the legaue the first half, but the moment when teams start to lock in and play in the second half, the Pels crumble and flame out.

I would bet that is the case.
