Guys that do things on twitter leak things on purpose. These guys like marc stein get their information from inside sources like the agent of the player himself. This isn't guess work. Sometimes they're wrong but its never arse backwards crazy wrong.

Well, I always thought the reported offer of almost $3M was a "false market" move. I doubt the Heat amnestied Miller to get under a tax threshold only to have Oden put them back over it. May be a a small base with incentives to 3.
42 made a post a few days ago about how that can reduce the cap hit. I really don't know.
