Yeah I just saw some comparison photos of his first media day in Nola a couple seasons ago and compared them to this years. He’s MUCH bigger.

Zion didn't even know who Fletcher was, and he has been covering the Pels his whole career ... our local media is a damn joke

That’s Fletcher’s fault?

More and more teams are moving larger small forwards to power forward anyways, there aren't too many teams where I think of their roster and consider it a problem even if Zion is out. And if Hayes' range is real, he becomes someone you can put at the 4 more often, since he is already capable of defending that position.

I hope Hayes is improving. But I don't ever want to see Hayes, Val or even Hernangomez on the court together. Hayes can't be a 4, unless he can run with one of those other two. We should have addressed PF. Especially if they knew Zion had surgery. Bad planning..

Why can't Hayes play the 4 with Jonas against bigger lineups? He can defend the 4 and can space enough with Val.

Hayes has shown flashes of a solid mid range shot as well as range out to the 3 point line. He just needs to be allowed to play freely like he did in those final couple of games. I don't think Hayes playing the 4 is going to be problematic with his speed, quickness, athleticism, and coordination.

He also mentioned that he's up to 235 and he feels that's his optimal weight. If that's the case, I think he will be a hybrid 4/5 going forward as long as the shot is consistent.

His shot is smooth. He’s only going to get better and better. I don’t think Jax is going to being a spacing problem and his defense is continuously improving. I believe he’s got a lot of growth coming this year.
