They need a starting caliber PF to make a run and ryno makes so much sense. Wall would have a field day with him/Beal out there.
Would dudley and a 1st do it?
I actually kinda like this idea.
We get Dudley who can play the 2-4(heck he played the 5 the other night with success against the Heat haha) and a first rounder.
If Dudley doesnt work out and we need the cap space he is off the books.
Dudley is also one of the most vocal analytics pumpers in the league. Buys into the Gentry system whole heartedly.

Morris on the Pels is interesting. he's remarkably efficient and getting his own shot late in the clock, and makes a great deal of them. this is a skill the pels desperately need. far too few pels can get their own shot or create any offense whatsoever.
he's not a great 3 point shooter. never quite evolved. that said. he's a MUCH better defender. and was quite good defending even power 4s last year.
in a league moving smaller, he's close to a proto-type 4.
lastly, 8 million for 4 years is a goddamn steal. make the trade now.
his type of player will got for 14 mill NEXT year.
i say go for it.

This is not surprising. Dell doesn't do FA acquisitions, he trades for assets.
Ryno is getting paid next summer. Do we want to be the ones paying 13-16 mil for someone who can't play a lick of D?
Morris has some upside, plays some D, and is on a super friendly deal. If you can get a 1st, too, that is mighty tempting. Arguably improves the team now, and you get what might be a second lottery pick.

The speculation is you'd get the Cleveland pick they own, not the Suns pick.

Well that is less tempting.
ETA: maybe Dell can work Asik into the trade, too!
