They only came back because they finally decided to stop shooting 3's with us and started driving inside where our lack of Favors hurt the most

If you didn’t expect a run from Memphis on their home court, you are delusional. Teams getting laxed being up by 20 is normal. It’s more important how the team manages the run. The team handled it well to close.

He's probably happy they won by 10. There's no reason for any fan to walk away pissed about that win. Again, for emphasis, we won the game.

But, yeah, Gentry just flat outcoached Jenkins tonight.
They should've attacked the basket early and often, gotten Hayes and Melli into early foul trouble, and then closed out the game with us being forced to play Hart and Ingram at the 5.

He said something along the lines of him sitting out on such a weak injury that he assumed it was just for rest. It was very subtle

I think that if Kenrich, Okafor, and Favors were all going to be out, and one of them really wasn't hurt, that Gentry would have told his arse to get on the floor and play.
I don't think this was "just rest" at all. Favors has a history of back problems, and we made him play all of overtime in the previous game, and so I wasn't surprised to see him out at all. I just hope that he's ready Wednesday. I know that everyone is going to want to play in that game, because the whole planet is going to be watching.

2 things you don’t frick with when it comes to Favors this season. His back and his hamstrings. If we can load manage him from time to time and still win, it would be monumental going into the May. Pelicans gotta do everything they can to keep him healthy.

I think Shaq was referring to Zion being on the bench even though he’s healthy. The Pels would just rather him make the debut at home so they can profit off him rather than the Grizzlies.
