Evans and Jrue aren't even 25 yet. They've actually proven something to a varying degree in this league.

Evans is 25 and Jrue is 24.

They are both 5 year pros. They aren't going to be making big leaps at this point.

I disagree they aren't even in their prime

Que?

Evans, Holiday and Anderson are right in their prime.

I think Gordon's best days are behind him. Asik, Anderson, and Tyreke are what they are. Holiday has some room to grow IMO and obviously Austin does too.

Or just think this team is already at its peak and will get no better. What's the point in watching then.

Rivals rated Rivers higher than AD going into college.

DeMarcus Cousins said Memphis is the toughest for him to play, he said you will be sore, bruised and beat to hell.

So pretty much some of you'd be happy with sucking and HOPING(very key word) that mid-late lottery picks will pan out and magically become stars while holding onto cap space? And if we did go that slow route and it didn't work out, would would the excuse be?

Slow build doesn't work in the NBA.

So team chemistry means nothing? This Memphis core has been together forever. Three of our big 5 just came here last season, and they were mostly injured throughout the season.
I never said anything about team chemistry. I'm talking about individual players.

Of course team chemistry can improve.
