you're missing your starting PG, your best bench player, and your only 3 pt shooter?

Actually, yes.

Beverley is the starting PG, and he's out.

Asik is the best bench player, and he's out.

And Brooks is the best 3 point shooter at 40%, and he's out.

Meh the team is still gelling. Lin missed a bunch of games, had the whole Asik experiment at the 4, Beverly has missed a month, Parsons has been in and out and Dwight is still adjusting to his teammates. All that said, we're 12 games above .500. You are making an assessment base on 1 game. I could take both games at San Antonio and say we're a lock for the title but that would be equally as dumb.

12 games above .500 in a brutal conference....I'll take it, knowing we are going to get better as the season goes on.

At least one trade away.

OKC, SAS, GS, and probably Portland are all better teams.

I am not joking when I ask this question. How can a rational, educated, even moderately worldly person be a fan of anything related to fricking Houston?

Rockets have only played 2 games together since the twin towers experiment with their 7 best players.

Howard, Jones, Parsons, Harden, Beverley, Lin, Asik.

Everybody except for Howard has been hurt at one time or another.

They can never get the full squad together.

GS, no way. They are hot right now but not better. We've owned them the last two years. I will concede SA and OKC although we match up well with SA too. OKC is the only team I'd worry about in the playoffs. Not saying we would run through the other groups, but in a 7 game series I would take the Rockets over GSW, the Clippers, and every lower seed. Portland would be a toss up. SA and OKC would be the teams I would favor but I wouldn't fear a SA matchup.

I agree, we need to acquire a player at the deadline to give the bench a lift. Love Jones at the 4 though. He'll keep improving. 24, 8 with 8 blocks tonight

not draw up the final shot for his best player who went off tonight?

He drew up a play that gave a wide open shot to a guy shooting 47% from 3 this season.

Rockets tend to play well against San Antonio.. but who knows in the playoffs.

Rockets have dominated GS the past 2 years. Complete arse kickings. I don't know why, but the Rockets own them.

Clippers have kicked the Rockets' arse the past 2 years.

OKC is always tough to beat.

Portland... who knows right now.

I agree with you about GSW and SA, but OKC is better and the Clippers just play well against the Rockets.
