Lakers will only give up one name at most.

The only problem with taking first round picks from the Lakers is that they are always picking toward the end of the first round

We aren't going to trade CP3 to the Lakers and just make them even stronger favorites in the West.

The only team in the Western Conference I could see the Hornets trading him to is Portland. I can't imagine why he even has Dallas on his list

Monty Williams and Dell Demps need to tell CP3 to give them to middle of next season and if the Hornets aren't in contention that they will explore trading him before the trade deadline

I could maybe see them talking with the Kings.

Would they give Tyreke Evans and DeMarcus Cousins in return?

What would be the point in that? They're unlikely to be able to make any major moves to get him the other superstar he wants to play with so that wouldn't help. He's got 2 feet out the door already, IMO I don't think anything they can tell him Monday will change him mind.

That would give him incentive to bust his arse in a Hornets uniform...

We went out and got the coach he wanted. The Hornets could've been in the playoffs last season if he would've be able to play. Even with Collison starting the Hornets were still in it

I still believe that this is being media driven. They needed another NBA story after LeBron and Bosh went to Miami with Wade

If that's true then wouldn't CP come out and say something along those lines?

These dudes don't give a shite about who the coach or GM is. If they did Lebron and Bosh wouldn't be playing for Spoelstra and Paul wouldn't be saying he wants to go to New York where everyone in the FO that isn't the coach is fricked up.

Maybe but we wouldn't have been there long. If he's following Lebron's model(which he seems to be doing) us making the playoffs as a 6-7-8 isn't close to cutting it to him. Hell Lebron considered the team who lead the league in wins two years in a row not close enough to a title for him.
