Not Pels Related, but...

The final 4 teams: Suns and Clippers have never won a championship. Bucks last did it in '71. Hawks did it in '58 with GOAT PF Petit and were in St. Louis, so ATL has never won one.
Nice to have some new blood win a 'ship!
Not Pels related but the fact that all 4 teams have turned it around relatively fast (maybe except for Bucks) gives me hope...

This year is so weird man and I'm proud and at the same time so weirdly jealous that Suns went from straight shite the past decade to making the NBA finals potentially on the first try. Like this Never happens right? Feels like the system of trajectory is kinda ruined with what the Hawks and Suns are doing. It's inspiring but as a life long loser with the Pelicans and maybe real life I'm jealous as hell it wasn't us in this position.
Kinda feels like something like this could never happen again and if we made the playoffs who knows.

The Suns are an interesting model. 4 lottery guys (Ayton, Booker, Bridges, Johnson) surrounded by solid vets that all fit and have specific roles. I can't give Paul enough credit, but it's a great situation for all involved.
Hopefully people will look at our situation differently and see that is possible to set the foundation organically and it takes time. We keep trying to rush..

Maybe stop drafting players with controlling parents or basketball camps that puts you in uncomfortable positions

Name checks out, but have a little faith in yourself man. No one is a loser unless they think they are.
OnTopic: I'm liking the way the playoffs are playing out this year. Seems like the Clippers are the only team left using the "go out and buy big names that want to play in big cities" model. And even they are not one of the traditional power teams.

I also am happy about this, but let's be real.
If injuries were not a part of this, it could be a lot different.
I don't think the Lakers are that good but they were beating the Suns before Davis got hurt again.
The Sixers were clearly better before Embid got hurt...again.
The Nets were rolling until they lost Harden and Kyrie.
I have a feeling Denver also pushes the Suns with a healthy Murray.
And we'll see how the Kawhi injury plays out.
But let's just say all of those guys are healthy, then you're probably looking at a Nets vs Sixers ECF and possibly Lakers vs Nuggets (really who knows in the West, it's so competitive.)

Injuries definitely played a role, but not out west, I would argue Suns beat Lakers even with AD.
