Absolutely. Quarterman was putting up triple-doubles the year before Simmons came, but basically got glued to the bench out the gate. When Jones chose the princess over the seasoned warrior, the chemistry on the team went to shite. The team regressed badly with Simmons putting up empty stats. Chemistry got so bad that the team literally quit rather than play in the NIT.

You clearly didnt watch this LSU season then.
At LSU simmons was a head case. That team made the tourney the year before with Jarrell Martin and Jordan Mickey.
We literally kept the same squad and swapped out Simmons and Craig Victor and sucked balls because Simmons wanted to play PG, forcing us to play most games short a big man.
At LSU he never took a single shot in warm ups.
He was and still is a complete headcase
