re: Nance wanting to come back makes Jax expendable.

As I've said on Jax before, the best thing about him is that he can switch onto guards. The only issue is that his on-ball defense is still so terrible.
If he improves his defense, he's not a total lost cause. I'm just not sure that's in the cards.
I mean he can switch onto guards but he needs to learn how to slow down. I've never seen a player just run into more people at full speed than Jaxon hayes.

Yep, he fricked up big time at the beginning of the 2nd half in game 6, when he got caught flat-footed and sprinted towards Crowder at the top of the key, only for Crowder to use that to his advantage, blow by him, force Herb to scramble for help, and it led to an And-1 and Herb's 3rd foul.
Jax's defense was a big reason why that 10-point halftime lead disappeared as quickly as it did.
His IQ is just not there.

Larry having a good game doesn't mean Jax sucks.
The numbers favor Jax, having Larry around is good. If we can develop Jax that would be insane, there isn't a higher upside we can find for him and his downside is pretty good numbers for a back up PF.
Everyone likes to point out points in time where he makes mistakes and forgets that over time he puts up solid, consistent numbers. AND HE IS SUPPOSE TO BE THE BACK UP!

I wouldn't trade Jax until I absolutely had to. If it happens, oh well, but I'm not going to press the issue with someone as young and freakishly athletic as him. Plus he can knock down free throws at a decent clip as well.

You're telling me Jax would be more productive than what Larry has been if he and Larry swapped minutes?
