I always enjoy a Gundy presser. Night and day between an Alvin. Gives real answers. Accepts blame, dishes some out, protects his players officiating wise, and generally seems to know what he’s talking about.

Yeah I’m fine with some of the debates about him as a coach(but like Monty and Gentry I think people are way too quick to try and blame Gundy), but the guy is probably the most forthright and best coach interviewer I have seen.
As you said, tells it like it is, treats the media with respect(which consists of many unpaid or barely paid fan bloggers), actually puts thoughts into his answers, doesn’t dumb down his responses, is openly introspective and takes responsibility, goes to bat for his players, but also isn’t scared to call out guys that he knows can be better.
