Culture needs to be changed. It needed to be changed last year. Willie is too much of a players coach (pussy) to deliver change. Zion has been coddled his whole life. He needs someone to put a foot in his arse.

I mean at some point it's on the players. This is when it sucks not having Jose and Herb playing. Always 100% effort.

Murray, cj, Jose, and Herb are ones you never have to worry about.

Man all these players are just actors.
You really think DJM cares that much?
Willie, DJM and CJ all spewed the same BS answers.

I do think Murray cares that much. He wanted to come here. He hates losing. Most players do.

He wanted to get out of Atlanta, different to wanting NOLA over the other 28 teams.

He cares, but I am sure he isn't losing sleep and letting it affect his life like it does some posters on here.

He literally said he’ll be thinking about the loss during thanksgiving and it shouldn’t be something you easily get over. I think there are different levels of passion when it comes to basketball for players. Dejounte seems like a bad loss does affect him and frankly as a fan I enjoy those type of players because it means they care.

I mean people hate all you want, popavich still speaks HIGHLY about djm and his work ethic.

Djm still speaks highly about pop too.

If there's one thing in the NBA, San Antonio has a culture that's about working hard and keeping yourself in shape.

The plan was never going to work because Zion is injured every year

Zion playing 70 games last year then getting hurt bought me one more season with him. Then he got another soft tissue injury early and wasn't ready. I was done with him.

This is the first time I've heard you say the plan was never going to work.

I came to that conclusion and realization early this season as well. I was fooled into thinking it was possible. But after sitting out because of the “virus”, shitty performances and once again hamstring issues- I too gave up. I think I admitted that I was done with him.

Great GM, great coach and rich history of winning. We have nothing like that here.

Agreed but you hope that djm is that player who can instill some of that culture like CJ did. Once he's gone, we need a djm in this locker room.

Right. I guarantee Murray is asking other players if zion is really this lazy and out of shape. He is different imo.
