If they do have a fire sale, I'd send them Moore for Covington

And they would laugh.
Take more than Moore.

I doubt they are having a fire sale. If anything they feel close enough to on the clock with KAT that they felt they couldn't wait for the offseason to make a change. Covington is the kind of cost controlled wing they'd keep around during a build around KAT.

Wiggins will soon follow in a trade. I doubt if the Pelicans have interest in him with that contract.

You think injuries are bad now. Thibs with our medical staff is a horrible idea.

Thibs would have AD and Jrue playing 46 minutes a game. How many careers were shortened in Chicago with his grind them to dust style?
Was glad to see Derrick Rose play well this season. Possibly an All-Star.

Imagine trading for Wiggins and then having that shite around post-AD.

IDK, if we are looking at recent history, Thibs seems like he has learned some lessons about player minute management, while Gentry looks like he has meticulously studied the Chicago Thibs school of star player minutes distribution.

- Anthony Davis is #2 in the league for MPG, and I would suspect part of that has to to do with him leaving some games early. Otherwise he is probably #1.

- Jrue is 4th in the league in MPG.

- No other team besides Washington has two players in the top 10.

- Last season we put Cousins through the most enduring minutes stretch of his career, playing 40+ minutes in the last 7 of 14 games in the highest paced offense and it ended with an achilles tear.

Meanwhile the highest MPG player on the Wolves is.....

- Robert Covington at 34mpg, ranked 24th in the league.

- Wiggins and KAT are 30 and 34 respectively.

Who cares at this point? We're second to last in the conference. Does it really matter?

At least Minny cares enough to fire their coach. Pels front office could give a frick.

Stay the course. Cruise control. Enjoy watching the future Sonics drift into 8th spot.

I can't find it now but last night one of the national guys tweeted from what he's hearing Thibs reputation has gone down enough that he probably has to go back to being an assistant before he gets a head coaching gig again. That makes sense to me, he's known as a defensive guru and even after bringing in a bunch of former players he still couldn't get Minnesota to be even an average defense. They've been bottom 3rd every year under Thibs and bottom 5 most of the time.

I don't necessarily disagree...

But Gentry?

That Cousins injury really should have been prevented. So devastating
