Nesmith, Bey, Vassell are the guys I want. That’s if none of the top 4 guys drop down. I like all 3. Nesmith probably has the highest ceiling/lowest floor tho

I agree with a lot of the comments regarding this pick.

I would be happy with any of your 3 as well.

My preference would be

1. Bey. Better defensive player imo.
2. Nesmith. Better offensive player.
3. Vassell

he and Vassell are pretty close when it comes to who is the better defender. Vassell has more steals per game, blocks per game, and a much better defensive rating all on 5 fewer minutes per game played. Bey tho can guard 4 different positions.

You are correct.

I was looking more at the 1 thru 4 versatility.

I would lean towards the 2 better defensive players preferably.

Is that Edwards, Melo, Wiseman, and Maxey/Avdija?

There are always quality guys available, I guess we'll see how good our scouts are, a Tyler Hero type of even Naz Reid would be awesome to grow with this team, a lot of people missed on Naz, wish we'd have gotten him

you are correct on Naz.
You could tell from the first 3 games he played at LSU that he had the potential to be a good nba player.
Him knocking down 3s at a good rate will keep him in the league for a long time. He's a physical player down low that has finesse, which is not common.

I can understand how he fell so far, but I can't believe some team didn't get him im the second. I was furious.

ny post has pels at 12th passing on bey to take f precious achiuwa.

they say this on bey:
quote:

At 21 and well-schooled at Villanova, he’s closer to being on the timeline and able to contribute immediately. He’s a solid spot-up shooter, a strong defender and plays with a high IQ on both ends of the floor.

achiuwa 6 9 225
15.8 10 at memphis.
long islander.
cant make fts. 59%
32% 3 pt.
truth be told, double digit rebound guys with his build do translate to nba.

ny post mock guy must think hayes is not it.
even pels fans think hes still a year away but i want bey. just pay favors.

tricky call. i hate when people use word just when its not really a sure thing.
we saw heck to pay when favors was out. achiura would be insurance.
well ok then.

Absolutely do not want to pick a guy with our first round pick that plays the 4/5, especially one that can’t shoot.

If we have the chance to draft Lamelo, draft him. If not trade the pick.

for what?

be specific as possible.

there are two scenarios.
only one makes ball2 possible. thats luck=lottery.

the other is picking 12 to 14 depending on luck=lottery of the other teams.

are you claiming disinterest in the shooter from Georgia?
looks like a fit with zion to me.

fwiw I guarantee pels can have ball2.

move up. if hes so hot make it happen.

Has anyone checked out Leandro Bolmaro?

He has my attention.

checked out his video.
very comfortable putting ball on floor like a guard.
now 6 8".
almost globetrotters feel for taking it to the hole.

can pull up and pop from 18 to 10 feet on the move in a way pels fans can only dream zion and hayes could do in future.
he knows to change momentum so hes not still moving toward the goal.when he lets it go.
that and the dribbling and the way he has touch around the rim says actual basketball player.
you cannot teach the way he gets inside.
im in.
never seen a weight room.
spurs lock.
they will stash him in barcelona another year and he'll be an nba all star for 10 years.

his coming out party will be the argentine olympic team in a year when olympics finally happens.
