Looks like we going to have to go through the Crypt to get to the playoffs.(PREDICTION)

Boy that OT loss in November to Lakers sticking out like a sore thumb now. Monty decided he was not going to help us last night either.

Lakers are 7th seed Pelicans are 8 seed if this stands you got to the Crypt.

Correct. And if we win, we get the 7 seed. If we lose @ LAL, the pels would host the winner of the 9v10 game at the Blender to determine the 8 seed.
So, worst case, we have to win a home game against the winner of Minny v OKC to make the playoffs. I like those chances

There's absolutely no chance that the Pelicans can win a play-in game in LA against one of the LA teams. The league will never let it happen. Zero precedent for something like that happening, either.

Except if Min wins today and beats us tomorrow. At that point we are the 9 seed and have to win twice.
