The cheap, young, freak athlete 4 for a 30 yr old, expensive, guard on on what a 2 year deal? To make the 10th seed?

Props to Willie Green for doing a good job coaching the young team without Zion.

It's not a "natural" lineup, but the way Ingram and Herb keep growing, you might have enough secondary ball handling and creation to make it work.

AD diagnosed multiple plays where BI and JV both were used to draw the defense and free the other up. What do teams do when you have Zion in the mix and Herb/Jax both being dangerous cutters if you take your eyes off them.

It could work. It's intriguing enough to keep the powder dry I think considering the trade choices seem less than ideal.

I like rolling with the youngsters, but NAW got go, this guy is a turnover machine.

Granted while there's adequate spacing, "do it big" is working for the Cavs.

I mean this is honestly the long-term concern with Jax at the 4.

We talk about point-Zion, but in reality what that means is giving Zion the ball at the top and letting him pass, attack, or dish, none of the players in that lineup can really facilitate at a high level, pass guys open, and organize an offense the way a good floor general does.

If Herb or BI can truly grow into those type of rare wing facilitators, it could work, but if not, we will ultimately just have a really good backup 4, which isn't a big problem, more like a luxury, but eventually he'd need to be moved for a player with a better fit.

While true, those guys aren’t true facilitators.

Boogie helped the OG Do it Big lineup because he could bring the ball up and operate at the top.

Let’s be real they aren’t winning the title this year. Any move to sneak into the 10th spot to “impress Zion” is short term thinking.

You know what our best chance is of keeping Zion? Having a fun team of guys he loves to play with. He seems extremely tight with Jaxson and NAW…Jaxson is beaming joy and confidence right now….that is the energy you need around Zion.

Let Jaxson, Herb, and NAW grow this year…it’s only helping their value. We will get another lottery pick…you can package that with hart this summer and get a guard.

If Zions top priority is to have fun with his friends(which I don’t think is true) then we shouldn’t build around him.

Zion is 21….you want him here when he is 25…when he is ready to win a championship….like Lebron, Giannis, Shaq….

You want to create an environment that he wants to be around. Keep growing this thing.

Yeah a winning environment now.

Not a frat house.

You don't think we're building a great culture under Willie Green?

Did you see how excited the bench was when Herb euroed all over Jokic?

We're looking that good that Mac might even revive his twitter

Wut? I’m the champion of not tanking because of the culture.

Tanking isn’t good for this team or this culture.

What the hell. Let’s ride or die with these guys. They’ve earned the right to see it through. They still can’t shoot a lick though…
