Then I'd take LBJ or Durant probably. They need a Wing desperately and Ryan can be the PF. Not AS big drop off.

What? Of course it does.

And I've never said he was.

Jrue isn't playing like an All-Star, nor has he ever in New Orleans. Evans still can't shoot, Anderson is really struggling, Asik is a giant troll, the rest are either busts or inexpensive roster spots.
AD is all we have going for us right now, and yes, he is unbelievable.

Poor game to talk badly about Jrue after. That was an all star effort tonight.

We can throw names at each other all day but the point is just because you played in the NBA doesn't mean you will be a good coach, front office exec or analyst.

Yes he is an unbelievable player/ talent. You're actually making a case against AD tho. If your analysis of the team is correct then that would mean his stats are padded from being on what you claim to be a bad team.

Would you take rather take advice from a person who doesn't have kids about parenting your child or from someone who does have kids?

The problem with naming Phil Jackson is that I never said no former players had success. You acted like having actually played automatically makes someone smarter than everyone else. If you think Tyreke Evans is a smarter basketball mind than Zach Lowe, there is something wrong with you.

People like Aaron Schatz, Bill James, and John Hollinger, have had major impacts on how we view sports, and even how sports or now played. The way almost the entire NBA is coached and played now comes from nerds who never played. Even a brilliant coach like Pop, the stuff he does with that team comes from analytical nerds.

Can't run the offense from the frontcourt.

And I should have said last past, no knock on Jrue, he's playing pretty well, but we NEED him to step it up. Not All-Star level. There are 6-8 better pgs in the West. Very competitive

Would you rather take advice from a really intelligent person who doesn't have kids, or a drug addict or child molester with kids, whose kids or clearly screwed up?

True. Phil Jackson won all or most of his titles when basketball was pure and there wasn't all these analytical nerds creating stats to tell you what you already knew about your player and team. I don't need some nerd to tell me what I see when I'm the one watching the games. Do you still have audio books? Lol
