I don't think its a bad deal with them taking on solo. In this draft I think 4-10 is very hit or miss. Having two picks in that range gives us a better shot of hitting.

That's how i feel too.
No one can feel confident, even scouts who do this for a living, that one guy is a sure thing at #4.
Give me #8 and #10, espcially if it means it get Hayes.
Turner is nice, but #10 could be..........a Turner! (said in Peter Griffins voice)

I not only really like turner but he has a great contract. That’s how you build a team. Just seems to make too much sense to me.

wish ATL could turn 8 and 17 for #6 or #7.

Then we get 6/7 and 10 for 4

That's an overpay. Solo is a trade asset.
As it is, while 1-3 are set, 4-7 or so are also pretty set. That gets us on the very edge of the next tier. Pass.

Goga at 10 seems to fit Langdon too well

In fact that's where tankathon just mocked him

For some reason Hayes went to CHI at 7 and Hunter dropped yo 8

Hunter and Hayes would be a massive win along with shedding solo if it worked out like that.

This feels contradictory.

If you wanted to make the trade and could do #4 for #8 & #10 without Solo, why would you include him?

Only reason is if Griffin thinks we can contend this year but yeah you’re right. Expiring is worth something at trade deadline to teams.

If you dont draft Garland, where is the shooting going to come from?

We will be rolling out a starting lineup of:

Ball/Holiday/Ingram/Zion/Okafor as it currently stands, which has literally no shooting. I would expect Garland to move into that starting rotation over ball by playoff time at a minimum. I know we have shooters on the bench, but I'm curious to see how the starting lineup plays out if we dont go with a guy like garland. That starting lineup is a bit concerning to me as it currently stands.

In reality, you’re getting Reddish and Hayes.

Amazing how king Joffrey can rule an empire and then reincarnate into a country singer.

Solo’s contract is only valuable if we are willing to eat a bad contract. I’m assuming that’s not the route they are looking to go, so that’s why getting rid of him or letting him expire is best

The 8 pick is the pick of death. Try to find the last great 8th pick in the NBA.
