You mean when he played 40 games or less his first two seasons here and had a fracture in his tibia that requires multiple surgeries. Then was on restrictions in year 3. In the process we went 109 - 137 those first 3 years when he was supposed to be our 2nd best player

we had bad luck b/c Philly fricked us (and our medical staff was terrible). that doesn't detract from the deal with the information available

he was only like 21 with 3 years in at the time and was already a very solid overall producer. it was always a great deal

bad luck happens. just like Boogie's achilles fricking up his deal in hindsight doesn't detract from the deal at the time it was made
