It’s really pretty simple with Zion, the FO, and the fans

We just want honesty. I think we all understand he’s a young man and wants privacy, but as a season ticket holder, we are entitled to more than these obscure and vague updates. No other franchise handles their business to this extreme level of secrecy and it’s time the local media risk some of their access and demand more transparency. Because obviously what has been happening is not working

I wish Griff would just say “out indefinitely” so some of y’all would relax and take a breath. Plenty of teams give fewer updates on injuries than we do and y’all shite on them for it because it’s not the update you want.

I think they thought he’d be back now and Griff just as pissed as us. His job is heavily dependent on Zion’s health.
He’s giving us a lane response because he doesn’t know what to say. This was a surprise. Zion was supposed to be back this week and the update was gonna be he’s coming back.

This isn't necessarily an apples to apples comparison but you are seeing this around the league more often.

Both the Ja and Wiggins ordeals have been keep under wraps as well.
Unfortunately, I think you will see more and more teams take this approach with stars

He went down hard on his back in late November then sat out a couple of weeks and came back and fell again in December and he hasn’t been back. Hamstring excuse is bullshite.

I don’t see how believing that people who have paid for season tickets and are constantly reminded to renew those tickets deserve a little more transparency. I’m not saying we need access to their medical records, but this has been over two years of these vague, say-nothing updates and amorphous timelines for return. And it hasn’t just been with Zion either. I’m merely pointing out that people’s patience and goodwill is being eroded by the way this keeps happening and how this franchise decides to communicate with its fans.
