physical!

Some good flashes out there from Peavy, Dickinson and Nowell. Bufkin looks like a vet who is a cut above the competition, which he is. Dia, the big kid out of Ole Miss, has a little DQ to him...

Dickinson tends to backpedal until he gets under the basket on defense. He really needs to learn how to bump with his chest and force opposing players off line before they get under the basket. He looks like he's just escorting players to the basket with his backpedaling.

I noticed that too. He does need to learn to be a little more physical. He should be grabbing some of those rebounds too. He’s letting them get to their spot and once he’s backpedaling under the rim he’s cooked.

The 'Baby Pels' showed that they are learning the "Pelicans; Way" nicely. They have already mastered the "4th Quarter Collapse".

DEFENSE!!! DEFENSE!!! DEFENSE!!!

Special Note: The Hunter Dickinson 'Two-Way' is a poor use of a roster spot. I'd rather it go to Markquis Nowell.

Nowell got hunted a lot as well. He's only 5'8 and will not make a team in today's league.

I know; that's my point. Dickinson looked worse; he was awful. His play makes memories of JV seem like a first team All Defense candidate. HD was a statue and totally owned in frick'n Summer League.

What do you think 'The Joker' or 'Wemby' would do against him?

5’7” but yes. Good luck to him but hopefully it’s on a different team.

YUKI KAWAMURA has played 40 games.

The crazy thing is that Bufkin is the vet at only 23 y/o. Dickinson, Peavy, and Nowell are 25, 26, and 27 y/o. Very possible Bufkin could be a late bloomer and didn't put it together between injuries and getting minutes at 19-20 y/o.

Could be nothing but if this 2nd game looks the same then I'd give him a contract.

He's younger than Jose when we drafted him and was the #15 pick compared to 2nds/ undrafted players.

Pierre is a long way from any NBA minutes right now. He's going to need to stay comfortable in Kenner.

KalkBrenner treating Dickinson like his personal bitch. Then Mcneeley just embarrassed Bufkin.

He's tall and has Relatively good touch when he's fed under the basket. We don't have anyone who's as tall on the roster. And he's plays hard.

I wasn’t able to watch it all. How the hell did they come back? When I checked earlier the Hornets were putting it to them
