It sucks but I'm going to ride it out

frick it. I've been a fan of this team for so long it's whatever at this point. We make the play in and I'll be happy. We miss the playoffs and I'll be bummed, but still optimistic that we put a premium on getting shooting this offseason.
It feels like a sexless marriage, but I'm not going anywhere.

Apparently the entire world knows we need to add shooting except the front office. That Fred Vinson experiment was dumb. He didn’t teach Lonzo how to shoot, he fixed his shooting motion and it improved his %. But it’s damn near impossible to teach NON SHOOTERS how to shoot.

Only a bum would ‘leave’ if we aren’t performing. Who wants those idiot fans anyway.
It’s just sad the hardcore of us are so used to disappointment that it’s normal… and it’s compounded for us that (speaking for myself but assume for most) we all thought we had finally changed and genuinely could be challenging.

I don't think we make the playin at this point. We need two teams to fall back/out for us to get the 10th spot. You would think that would be the Thunder and Jazz. But they don't seem to be packing it in.
BTW, we will have no room to say anything if the Mavs don't make it in the playin at least. Not making it in with a top 3 NBA player that has been mostly healthy all year would be a huge letdown. Bigger story than our meltdown..

If (and we damn well should) we win the next 4 games, we’ll be in amongst it again… but that ends our ‘easy’ run which we’ve successfully made incredibly mediocre and removed any cushion we may have gained from it

The Rockets, Spurs, and Hornets all have the same or a better record over the past 10 than we do. We are getting snuck once or twice. But there just isn't any separation 4-12 right now. I've never seen this tight of a race at this point in the season. I'm sure it has happened before. But we have been awful for awhile and are still in it. It's kind of unbelievable..
