Not sure if you realize this, but he’s burned through most of his assets fixing his blunders. There’s only the Lakers pick next year and one Bucks pick in a couple years left. That’s it.

What were the huge swings that Denver or Boston took?

lol they aren’t getting a top 30 player for Ingram because Ingram isn’t even close to a top 30 player. I’m sure they could get a top 30 player but at what cost? They don’t need to find a top 30 player imo. They need to find a piece that fits better at what we’re trying to do. We do need Zion to stay healthy and continue on the pace he’s on when on the court, but this team isn’t doomed by any stretch of the imagination. But they can’t afford to make another bad move here.

What does this mean?
The only way that is remotely possible is for Zion to take a massive leap forward.
Flipping Ingram, a borderline top 30 player, for another borderline top 30 player is not vaulting us to a championship. We need to develop talent. Acquire young high upside, give them minutes, and ride the wave. Even then, it takes time. Jokic didn't win to season 7. I think Giannis was year 6 or 7 too. There is a natural progressin. People just want to jump over all that. Which isn't realistic..
This is why I never understood the people who 3 years ago were saying to trade picks.
You draft guys and hope you hit. The pels aren't winning a ship next year.

Hartenstein is looking the most realistic if no move for a center happens through trade.
No it's not.
Get hartenstein out your head. He isn't leaving new York
