re: Is it bad that I’m getting to the point of checking out on this organization?

As long as it has New Orleans on the front of the jersey, I’m going to be emotionally invested and root for them.

However, fandom is supposed to be enjoyable, and rooting for this franchise is soul sucking, especially this season. I’m definitely checked out.

I’ve been cursed with being invested in this franchise ever since my dad took me to the inaugural hornets game against the jazz.
