Firm NO!! When he skipped the playoff game against Blazers, allegedly bc of flying and the potential to complicate his recovery, only to to post himself in a jet on his way to Coachella was strike.
Deathknell came when he said disparaging remarks and falsities about the contract negotiations and his retarded, ill-advised decision to go play for the Warriors on a peanuts deal, to "spite" the Pels/League for his perceived lack of contractual respect.
Boogie got his karma unfortunately. Not that I wished it for him, certainly not, but Im sure it is a decision that he undoubtedly regrets from a financial standpoint and his future is more uncertain now than it was when he left.
Should of negotiated for more reasonable, production incentives in his Pels contract to possibly make up for any "lost" monies due to the circumstances, if his play returned back to his pre-injury form. I think he just didnt want to accept reality and understand its a business and both sides needed to protect themselves in a fair manner.
Nonetheless, the Boogie show was nice while it lasted and a "what could have been" story, but that ship has sailed. I dont view him as a locker room cancer, as many do bc of the Sac Bee reporter who consistently wrote "hit-pieces" on Boogie, for whatever reasons, but never viewed him as a vocal leader of a team, which would be his expected, primary role for this version of the Pels, besides needed production obviously.
He would want a substantial role to showcase himself in an effort to secure a long-term contract with a team, and rightfully so. That being the case, he likely would not want to come off the bench for such an unestablished, young team and behind any player whom he perceives as inferior to him, such as Hayes. Things could go ugly quick with a need to trade or release him if he became a malcontent.
I wish him the best and hope his game can considerably recover from his unfortunate circumstances because I like Boogie overall and think he's a genuinely good dude for the most part, but his exit and for what this team currently needs, he is not worth considering.

I feel bad for boogie because we ruined his career. We had 2 guys on team that was giving us 40 & 20. If I could get him for $3mil put him next Zion. He def can space floor
Pels ruined his career? He was having his best statistical year, was on his way to 1st Team All-NBA and was a legitimate MVP contender at the time of his injury. Was he utilized in the best way on the Pels team? Thats a subjective determination for the most part, ostensibly based upon what a person thinks traditional bigs should do, but Gentry allowed him to be more than just a post presence, which any coach should allow a player to maximize his full potential within a team structure.
Boogie was extremely talented for a big and was unique in that he was a bruiser with finesse and a soft touch. Perfect modern day center, sans his defensive effort, at times, and a desire to be a Point-Center at inopportune times.
Nonetheless, the Pels certainly did not RUIN his career... In fact, the opposite was playing out perfectly for 4 months, until his injury. Don't know what games Smashadams was watching but it certainly wasn't the Pels. Gonna need you to go back and rethink that one a bit my man.

I’m actually a season tix holder so I was there. Trust when I tell u Gentry system should’ve been changed we all felt like that. Boogie & AD barely could get back up floor cuz we were playing so fast. Clearly if we could’ve slowed game down I think boogie would’ve lasted. It was a AD injury that added even more to Boogies plate for that last couple months. I think Gentry used them up & they bodies gave in. when defense and pick n rolls should’ve been part of offense.
