If #DoItBig fails, can the Pels and Blazers solve each others problems?

Fast forward a year and assume the Pels have resigned Cousins but they are still stuck in the same place, fighting with the also stuck Blazers over the back end of the playoffs. Would trading Cousins for Portland's choice McCollum/Lillard make both teams better?

I would do it in a heartbeat, which makes me think that maybe the Blazers wouldn't do it.

Pretty sure the Pels are always going to be fighting for the #8 playoff spot no matter what they do.

I wouldn't do that if I was Portland, but who knows how they value Boogie/CJM.

I do know that Stotts stands a much better chance of controlling Boogie than Uncle Al.
