I've been thinking about this too. If Lakers and Pels miss the playoffs, our percentage increases for a higher draft choice. This team needs a top three pick.

it is a pick swap, not a lottery ball chances swap. we choose after the order is finalized

My understanding is there is no choice. If their pick is higher it's an automatic swap.
