This kid missed almost his entire only year at Duke, gets drafted and doesn't play his rookie year, finally starting to get his confidence up after not playing for over a year, let's not forget coming out of high school he was a top prospect also. We might have a steal on our hands !!!

So, if the Bucks offer Gianni's, you say no?

It's a bad thread title and poor sentiment. You have to go into more depth and be more specific. Of course you would move him in the right deal.

But maybe you value him higher than our 2021 first. Or maybe you'd rather take on another bad contract rather than including him in the deal.

Take your time. If you are going to start a thread, go deeper. Be more specific. Otherwise, you started a bad thread and wasted everyone's time

Actually, it's a great post. It's asking for a poster to be more clear and in depth so we can have a better conversation. Smart people would see this. Dummies like you would complain because you want to be able to post vague, pointless posts in the future.

This can be done without the condescending douchebaggery. In fact, if better conversations are what you're after, I'd bet it works better.

So give me an example of how I could have done that here specifically, because I thought I was very nice and detailed in my post. I gave him helpful advice with no condescending words.

You literally asked one question in the entire post and it was a flame.

The rest of if was transparent elistism that you took time out of your day to go on about. Then you claimed innocence saying you want a conversation.

When a conversation could have started...

"At what point would you consider trading him? I'd certainly trade him in a package for a superstar or #2 option, I don't think he's close to untouchable"

I had two objectives: to both have him clarify his OP AND prevent him from similar poor thread starters in the future.

Your example only accomplishes one of my goals

Look, you guys can blast my methods but I played the "nice guy" role for years. And over that time, the level of discourse didn't change. Since I've taken on this role, I have become hated but the dialogue is much better. I will take that every time.

It's just funny that Crewz still sticks to his guns that ridiculing posters is the only way to get them to do better without realizing that any time he does it, his own shite posting is what derails every thread he's in that he decides to do that in.

Just not much awareness on his part of what's going on.

Holy shite you need to check you ego. Look, I appreciate some of the info and insight you provide to the board, but got damn the way you portray yourself is borderline narcissistic. I don’t think for a second any Pels talker with an IQ would turn down a Giannis for Frank swap. You just made yourself look like an arse for even bringing that up and intentionally attempting to belittle OP.

We need posters to speak up: which poster thought to themselves "well i would trade Frank for Giannis, Steph Curry, Kawhi Leonard, and Klay Thompson" when they read the thread?

What do the pelicans see Frank's upside as? Is he a good rotation guy in the future as team's 6th to 7th best player or is he a guy you can start night in night out and expect production. Hard to say for me right now

Little bit of Manu Ginobli mixed with a large dash of Dwayne Wade.

A combo bench guard who operates off the wing when intiating offense. Good shooter who can attack close outs, can finish.

Ideally won’t get torched on switches, but guards the third option on the wing(matchup dependent).

Nearly the same role as Moore, with more bounce and less craftiness.

The Pels should not trade a young rotation player on a cheap deal. Especially one they develop, who looks like the first one with upside since Davis.

Player development is big part of culture.
